they're tasty but small crabs are almost not worth the effort for the little meat you get, took me nearly an hour to eat 2.
these are fresh water crabs from the local lake, we had fresh water prawns too. thought they were only from the ocean.
tasted great, as they had eggs inside and were fresh in the bag, which can be disturbing for us westerners

I was just taking a piss at my grandma in laws sisters flat when I heard a bubbling sound in the bath. a bag of crabs waiting to be our dinner... :0

more crowds around the lake
large pergoda built as a monument to stop the tidal flooding before they built the lake
popular tourist shopping area with some interesting shops. I liked the guy making insects out of grass and the traditional looking old short fat man selling some kind of biscuits

West Lake Hangzhou China
we are in Hangzhou now, a bit south from Shanghai
Hangzhou, like Suzhou is one of the Heaven cities. we spent the first day walking around the famous West Lake in misty conditions which is one of the best ways to experience it.

Chinese cemeteries
we visited Amy's grandparents graves in the 'illegal' and unkempt cemetery, then her uncle/aunts legal and well maintained cemetery nearby.

our massive 5 hotel in Suzhou
this hotel was awesome and massive for our 4 day stay in Suzhou. all paid for by Amy's best mate Alan, who owns the Nepal bar/restaurant.
